Save Money in Amsterdam

Buy a museum pass and save money when you are in Amsterdam. The museumjaarkaart, Museum Year Pass, allows free entrance to more than 400 museums all over the Netherlands for one year. It is not promoted for tourists but if you intend to visit four museums or more, the museum card saves you money.




If you visit Amsterdam frequently, buying a museum pass saves you a lot of money because the card is valid for one year. Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and 30 more museums in Amsterdam honour the card.

Get it from one of the participating museums. Fill in the form pay €45, or €25 if you are under 25 and use it immediately. The only snag is that the form you have to fill out is in Dutch. This is not a real problem because the museum staff speaks English.
